We like to keep the box scheme and the administration around it as simple as possible
The Box scheme has finished for 2020
Thank you to everyone who supported the box scheme this year and was able to enjoy the tasty organic vegetables and fruit.
Thanks to a Scottish Government Covid-19 communities support grant we have been able to involve and pay a number of local people for the delivery.
A selection of seasonal organic vegetables will continue to be available from the Handam shop in Aberfeldy..

Where does it all come from?
The underlying idea of the SOSA box is to supply organic/biodynamic vegetables and local fruit (if possible) to the area of Aberfeldy and Pitlochry. We try to do this as sustainably as possible:
We make up the boxes in the polytunnel of the Biodynamic Garden Camserney
Your vegetables come in a cardboard box, no other packaging is used
To make it sustainable we appreciate donation of carboard boxes
The underlying idea of the SOSA box is to supply organic/biodynamic vegetables and local fruit (if possible) to the area of Aberfeldy and Pitlochry. We try to do this as sustainably as possible:
- The Biodynamic Garden Camserney grows as much produce as possible bearing in mind that at the moment the garden is a relatively small area and will not produce enough to fill a box for the time we run it. We will grow broad beans, courgettes, leeks, celeriac, heritage potatoes, parsley, different chards, radishes, strawberries and a small amount of other soft fruit. Our Unique Selling Product is salad leaves with edible flowers
- We support other organic growers in Scotland by buying their produce through Organic World which are organic distributors for Scotland and are organically certified. However there are not enough vegetables produced organically in Scotland
- We support other organic growers in the UK and beyond. In this way we are buying into a movement that will slowly but surely spread its wings. We want to be a part of this
- Bunches of herbs will be grown by Harvest Brae an organic smallholding and orchard near Stanley, Perthshire
